Los Cabos

During the 2014 NAMM Show, Los Cabos Drumsticks announced several new additions to the product offerings. Two new additions to their maple series drumsticks, the Jive and the Swing, were both designed with jazz musicians in mind. The Swing model features an elongated oval or olive tip that delivers great depth and tone from drums and cymbals. The Jive model features a ball tip for a more focused, bright sound and highly responsive feel.

Swing = 16.29” (41.40 cm) x .566” (1.4 cm)   MSRP - $13.50

Jive = 16.25” (41.30 cm) x .566” (1.4 cm)   MSRP - $13.50

Both jazz models are available in maple only.

Los Cabos also announced the addition of the 2B White Hickory Nylon Tip to their growing catalogue of drumstick models.  This new model rounds out the company’s white hickory nylon tip series which includes 2B, 5A, 5B and 7A models.

By the way, Los Cabos Drumsticks recently invested in new equipment that will greatly improve the life and durability of their entire nylon tip line.

Also new at the NAMM Show, Los Cabos featured their new Duo model, stick/mallet combo. The Duo combines the company’s popular 3A Maple drumstick with a 1” hard felt mallet on the other.

"The Duo is like the younger sibling of our Multi-Stick," said Matt Carter, Director of Marketing and Artist Relations. "Using maple allows for an overall lighter feel to this stick and the hard felt beater delivers a very focused attack while creating a wonderful overall balanced feel."

Duo = 16.25” (41.30 cm) x .586” (1.49 cm)    MSRP - $25.64
