Benny Greb

Benny Greb, born on June 13, 1980 in Augsburg, Germany, is German drummer and clinician, best known for his educational prowess and instructional materials.

Greb, who started playing the drums when he was six years old, began taking lessons at the age of twelve and plays a wide range of music styles and genres including rock, jazz, funk, reggae and fusion. He's worked with the likes of Stoppok (de), The Ron Spielman Trio, Sabri Tulug Tirpan, Jerobeam, Bobby McFerrin, NDR Big Band, 3erGezimmeR, Wayne Krantz, Strom & Wasser, and his own group, The Benny Greb Brass Band.

Benny Greb has also performed at numerous clinics and drum festivals around the world as well as the Modern Drummer Festival 2010.

Besides endorsing products from Remo, Pro-mark, Meinl Percussion, and Sonor Drums (with his own signature snare), Benny Greb endorses Meinl Cymbals and has helped to develop a signature line of Byzance Vintage Series cymbals including the Sand Ride and Sand Hats.

Greb has released a number of educational products including The Language of Drumming (2009) and The Art & Science of GROOVE (2015).
