BIOGRAPHY
Bill Stewart, born William Harris Stewart on October 18, 1966, in Des Moines, Iowa, is an American jazz drummer whose playing is often times distinguished as melodic focus with a polyrhythmic, layered character. Stewart has performed with a broad array of musicians, from Maceo Parker to Jim Hall. He is also an active composer of "postmodern" jazz tunes.
