Nick Mason

Nick Mason, born Nicholas Berkeley Mason on January 27, 1944 in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England, is an English drummer and songwriter, best known for his work with Pink Floyd. Nick is the only constant member of the band since its formation in 1965. Although he has only written a few Pink Floyd songs, Mason has co-written some of the band's most popular compositions such as "Echoes" and "Time."

In the Drummer Cafe article The Richest Drummers in the World for 2012, it was reported that Mason's estate ws worth over $75 Million.

In December 2012, Mason was back in the news (Pink Floyd Drummer, Nick Mason, Saves Drum Shop), having provided the necessary funding to keep London's most famous drum shop from closing its doors permanently.
