Sly Dunbar, born Lowell Fillmore Dunbar on May 10, 1952 in Kingston, Jamaica, is a reggae drummer, best known for his partnership with bassist, Robbie Shakespeare, who rose to international prominence as Sly & Robbie — widely regarded as reggae's best and most innovative rhythm section.
