BIOGRAPHY
Zoro, born Daniel Donnelly on June 13, 1962, is an American drummer, author and educator, who has toured and recorded with the likes of Bobby Brown, Lenny Kravitz, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, New Edition, Jody Watley, Sean Laennon, Philip Bailey (Earth, Wind & Fire), Lisa Marie Presley, Throttle Body Motorcycle Club, Lincoln Brewster, Phil Keaggy and numerous others.
As an author and educator, Zoro's drum method book, The Commandments of R&B Drumming, was voted #1 Educational Text in a past Modern Drummer Reader's Poll. The book has since been expanded and re-released by Alfred Publishing in a 10th anniversary edition as well as a separate play-along CD package.
In 2008, Zoro, along with co-author Daniel Glass, released The Commandments of Early Rhythm and Blues Drumming book/CD.
In 2011, Zoro released his inspirational, motivational, and life-changing book, The Big Gig: Big-Picture Thinking for Success.
