REVIEW

On September 23, 2013, iconic drummer and highly sought after session musician, Abe Laboriel Jr, released Naked, his first solo album — with his one-man-band, Sprinkle.

Appropriately titled, Naked is a raw, in-your-face, alternative rock album featuring Laboriel on bass, guitar, vocals, and of course, drums. Fans will more than likely be VERY surprised with Abe's passionate songwriting talents — not to mention his exceptional multi-instrumental and vocal skills.

Knowing Laboriel's music background, having performed and worked with such music pioneers as Eric Clapton, Sting, and Paul McCartney (with whom he drums for to this day), and the fact that his father, Abraham Laboriel Sr., is one of the most widely used session bassist of our time, it is no big revelation to hear such creativity and maturity flowing from this 'household name' musician.

Naked sounds live, organic and unprocessed. Invision the 1960's version of The Beatles being brought forward fifty years to record an alternative rock ablum.
