BIOGRAPHY
Ed Mann, born January 14, 1955 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, is an American percussionist, best known for his mallet percusion work, live and recorded, with Frank Zappa.
Besides his numerous records with Frank Zappa and Zappa Records, Ed Mann's solo discography includes Get Up (1988), Perfect World (1991), Global Warming (1994), Have No Fear (1997), and (((GONG))) Sound Of Being (1998).
Ed Mann is featured on one of the top drumming albums of the twentieth century, Frank Zappa's Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar which features Ed on percussion with Terry Bozzio and Vinnie Colaiuta on drums.
